FTW Draft: Leaderboard Update – S1W5

Each week, we will be tabulating rankings based on wins and losses from every member of the WWE and TNA roster. We’ll then organize them based on points. This blog post will be separated into 2 listings: Overall Leaderboard and FTW Rankings.

Overall Leaderboard

This week, although a few ties continue, quite a few started to move ahead. Here is your top 10 for Week Five:

  • 10 – Rey Mysterio (Undrafted)
Rey lost to CM Punk this week, causing him to drop 1 spot. However, he remains in the top 10 with 9 points.
  • 9 – Kelly Kelly (Undrafted)
Kelly Kelly continues to be pushed as the top face in the Women’s division. She picked up another key win over the Bellas, this time w/ Eve Torres. She now has 9.5 points.
  • 8 – Christian (Undrafted)
Christian lost to Sheamus this week. He did not lose his spot in the top 10 though, coasting at the 8 spot with 11 points.
  • 7 – Big Show (Undrafted)
Big Show remains in the top 10, all though his future is in question. What isn’t in question, though, is Harrison’s loyalties. He dropped him without even a hesitation. Big Show sits at 11.5 points.
  • 6 – Kofi Kingston (Kevin)
Kingston lost to Dolph Ziggler. It was such a shock, that he went from 3rd to 7th. The biggest one week drop in FTW Draft history. He remains with 13.5 points.
  • 5 – Sin Cara (Garvin)
Sin Cara picked up another win this week, as was expected. Once again defeating Chavo. 15 points in total.
  • 4 – Mickie James
Mickie James also won this week. She picked up a win over Harrison’s winter giving her an extra .5. She now sits at 15.5 points.
  • 3 – Kane (Garvin)
Kane defeated The Great Khali in a match that saw him a) get destroyed and b) win with a flying clothesline. Shameful match, but points are points. Kane now sits with 16.
  • 2 – Randy Orton (Joe)
Orton finally took a week off. But, he still remains in 2nd place with 17.5 points.
  • 1 – John Cena (Joe)
It’s Cena. That’s the good news. The bad news is he received his first loss, not only in the FTW Draft, but in FTW competition, losing to R-Truth. He still sits at 21 points, so no one should be happy about this.

FTW Rankings

And, here is where everyone stands in Week Five of the first season of the FTW Draft:

  • 5 – Kevin
Kevin only earned two points this week. Pretty lackluster overall. But hey, maybe 13 is lucky for him?
  • 4 – Harrison
Big Show’s replacement, Hernandez did nothing this week. But, Harrison still got 6 points taking him to 27.5.
  • 3 – Rob
Rob is continuing to rack up points. He got 9.5 this time taking him to 32.5.
  • 2 – Garvin
Garvin went from 33.5 to 39.5. Kane and Sin Cara delivered, again. Sting, Matt Morgan and Kharma did nothing (points-wise). Maybe next time.
  • 1 – Joe
And the 4-week Champion, Joe continues to roll despite Orton and Cena both bringing in zero this week. 52 points overall.

FTW Draft: Harrison Drops Big Show

There was a clause written in the official rules for the FTW Draft that allowed for trades with “the bank” in the case of injuries. During week one, John Morrison was legitimately injured, so we saw him being traded by Kevin.

On Monday’s Raw, Big Show was involved in an injury angle. Nothing has been announced officially, if this is a legitimate injury, if he’s taking time off, or if he’s the Big Show, and not even a car can take him down.

Regardless, before we find out what what happens, Harrison has made a draft decision.

Officially, Harrison is trading Big Show for Hernandez. All points Hernandez scores moving forward will apply to Harrison’s team score.

FTW Draft: Leaderboard Update – S1W4

Each week, we will be tabulating rankings based on wins and losses from every member of the WWE and TNA roster. We’ll then organize them based on points. This blog post will be separated into 2 listings: Overall Leaderboard and FTW Rankings.

Before that, though, need to make a quick correction. Last week, we had miscounted 2 matches from Mickie James. Because of that, she was left out of the Top 10, but should have been. So, there will be a slight shift in the bottom 5.

Overall Leaderboard

This week, although a few ties continue, quite a few started to move ahead. Here is your top 10 for Week Four:

  • 10 – Sting (Garvin)
  • Sting, as you’d expect from any company not WWE, did not have their Champion work this week, since their PPV was a week before. So, coasting at 8.5 points is the TNA World Champion.
  • 9 – Rey Mysterio (Undrafted)
Despite him losing against R-Truth at Over The Limit, Rey teamed up with Cena on Raw giving him a much needed 2 points, keeping him in the hunt with 9 points.
  • 8 – Christian (Undrafted)
Christian failed at becoming the World Champion at Over the Limit, but he didn’t fail at defeating Sheamus on Smackdown. He earned 3 points giving him a solid 11 points.
  • 7 – The Big Show (Harrison)
Big Show, along with Kane, successfully defended their titles at Over The Limit. So, they earned a huge 4.5 points (4 + the .5 over Rob’s CM Punk). Unfortunately, he lost the titles on Raw and then was ran over by a car, but hey, for this week, he’s still flying high. 11.5 points.
  • 6 – Sin Cara (Garvin)
Sin Cara picked up another win this week, as was expected. This time against Chavo. 12 points in total, and he’s now in 5th place. (Note: Just going to keep the same description and replace names moving forward.)
  • 5 – Mickie James
She had been forgotten, but do not count her out. In four weeks, she has had 2 successful title defenses, and two tag match victories giving her 12 points. Same as Sin Cara, but her being a Champion and being without a placement last week, she gets the 5th spot.
  • 4 – Kane (Garvin)
Kane had three matches this week, including a successful title match, and two wins over FTW competition. He now sits at 13 points, barely out of the top 3.
  • 3 – Kofi Kingston (Kevin)
Kofi Kingston remains in 3rd with his 3-point victory over Drew McIntyre on Raw. He now sits at 13.5 points.
  • 2 – Randy Orton (Joe)
Orton defeated Mark Henry via DQ on Smackdown and followed it up with a successful defense against Christian at Over the Limit. 5 points in total this week taking him to 17.5.
  • 1 – John Cena (Joe)
It’s Cena. 2 wins, both against FTW competition. 7 points total sending him to 21 overall.

FTW Rankings

And, here is where everyone stands in the first season of the FTW Draft:

  • 5 – Kevin
Okay, starting to count out Kevin. He gained 3 points thanks to Kofi Kingston. But, the rest of his draft is failing to do much of anything. 11 points and in last place.
  • 4 – Harrison
Harrison earned 11.5 points with 7 matches. That takes him to 21.5, but still not catching up to Rob.
  • 3 – Rob
Rob got screwed out of a higher point value from last week. Not a lot of points, but still. He only earned 6.5 points this week, even with the push due to the miscalculation. But he edged out Harrison with 23 points.
  • 2 – Garvin
Garvin went from 27 points to 33.5, after Sin Cara and Kane picked up some key wins. Just think if his team was running on all cylindars. Kharma and Matt Morgan still have gone without a match.
  • 1 – Joe
And the 3-pete. Joe is this week’s FTW Draft Champion, picking up a whopping 18 points. And that’s all thanks to Orton and Cena. Zeke, Hardy and Daniels worked minimally this week. 49 points.

FTW Draft: Leaderboard Update – S1W3

Each week, we will be tabulating rankings based on wins and losses from every member of the WWE and TNA roster. We’ll then organize them based on points. This blog post will be separated into 2 listings: Overall Leaderboard and FTW Rankings.

Overall Leaderboard

This week, although a few ties continue, quite a few started to move ahead. Here is your top 10 for Week Three:

  • 9 – Layla El, Rey Mysterio and Kelly Kelly (Undrafted)
There’s a 3 way tie for 9th place. With Kelly Kelly’s big win over Brie Bella on Raw, and Rey Mysterio’s defeat over Alberto Del Rio, by DQ no less, they matched up with last week’s #5, Layla El. And if that’s any indiciation, lots of movement. They all have 7 points.
  • 8 – Crimson (Undrafted)
Crimson competed twice this week. He first defeated Samoa Joe and Abyss on Impact and followed that up with a win over Abyss at Sacrifice. 6.5 points in one week moving him into 8th with 7.5.
  • 7 – Christian (Undrafted)
Despite him losing the title in 2 days (or 5 days, depending on what calendar you refer to), Christian did pick up a win this week. He was also teamed with Orton, so 2 points to him. That takes him to 8 points, but he remains in 7th place.
  • 6 – Sting (Garvin)
Sting successfully defended his title at Sacrifice, giving him a much needed 4 points. He also had an extra .5 for defeating Rob’s RVD. And that takes him to 8.5 points.
  • 5 – Sin Cara (Garvin)
Sin Cara picked up another win this week, as was expected. This time against Daniel Bryan. 9 points in total, and he’s now in 5th place.
  • 4 – Kane (Garvin)
Kane had two matches, but only one earned him points: a DQ victory over Wade Barrett. Since Barrett is a champion, that’s 1.5 in total bringing Kane up to 9.5 points.
  • 3 – Kofi Kingston (Kevin)
Kofi Kingston finally got picked up in the “supplemental draft”. Kevin traded for him after Morrison got hurt and, maybe it was just a sign of what’s to come, but Kofi lost. To Rob’s CM Punk. He dropped down 1-spot, still sitting with 10.5.
  • 2 – Randy Orton (Joe)
Orton picked up a win with Christian, pushing him into second place with a healthy 12.5. How Joe ended up with both Champions, I’ll never know.
  • 1 – John Cena (Joe)
And, John Cena once again gets a squash win, this time over Jack Swagger on Raw. He also no sold about 4 pipe shots and yeah, we might as well just crown Cena the top of every week. He’s got 14 points now. 3 weeks in a row.

FTW Rankings

And, here is where everyone stands in the first season of the FTW Draft:

  • 5 – Kevin
Kevin almost doubled his points. Last week, he had 4.5, this week, he has 8. He’s the current sleeper. Wouldn’t count him out just yet.
  • 4 – Harrison
You could count out Harrison, though. He gained 0 points after 2 losses. Maybe OTL will help him out. 10 points still.
  • 3 – Rob
And Rob takes over third with 4 wins and 2 losses. One of those wins was Anderson winning 25-man battle royal, then Mickie James successfully defending over Madison Rayne and on Raw, CM Punk defeating Kevin’s Kofi Kingston. He now sits at 16.5 points.
  • 2 – Garvin
Garvin picked continues to coast. Kane delivered. Sin Cara delivered. And Sting retained. Now if only Kharma and Matt Morgan competed we may see some more competition for Joe. He now sits at 27 points.
  • 1 – Joe
And, most likely how it will look for the forseeable future, Joe’s Champions delivered boosting him up to 31 points. Joe is this week’s Leaderboard Champion. That’s two weeks in a row for him.

FTW Draft: Trade announcement

There was a clause written in the official rules for the FTW Draft that allowed for trades with “the bank” in the case of injuries.

Well, that happened. On Monday, John Morrison announced that he was having surgery that would take him out for up to 3 months.

Morrison was a member of Kevin’s roster.

Therefore, Kevin is officially trading Morrison for Kofi Kingston. All points Kofi scores moving forward will apply to Kevin’s team score.

FTW Draft: Leaderboard Update – S1W2

Each week, we will be tabulating rankings based on wins and losses from every member of the WWE and TNA roster. We’ll then organize them based on points. This blog post will be separated into 2 listings: Overall Leaderboard and FTW Rankings.

Overall Leaderboard

This week, although a few ties continue, quite a few started to move ahead. Here is your top 10 for Week Two:

  • 10 – Sting (Garvin)
Because of TNA’s booking, Sting coasted this week as he did not compete. He dropped 2 places and ends week two with a total of 4 points.
  • 9 – Sin Cara (Garvin)
Sin Cara picked up another win this week, as he defeated Tyson Kidd. He now has 6 points and moved up one spot in the rankings.
  • 8 – Rey Mysterio (Undrafted)
Rey competed in a triple threat match on Raw, and lost. He stayed at 6 points, but dropped down 3 spots, in the Leaderboard.
  • 7 – Christian (Undrafted)
Last week we were wondering how this guy went undrafted. Now we remembered: The WWE does not like Christian. 2 days after winning the title, he dropped it to Randy Orton. For shame. He still sits at 6 points, but drops 1 spot in the Leaderboard.
  • 6 – Big Show (Harrison)
The Big Show lost to Ezekiel Jackson. Seriously. He also dropped 2 spots. And that’s a win for Joe in FTW Competition.
  • 5 – Layla El (Undrafted)
Layla El continued her path of destruction as she not only picked up another win at the expense of “I can’t take a clothesline” Alicia Fox. She also moved up 4 spots in the Leaderboard. From 9th to 5th.
  • 4 – Kane (Garvin)
Despite picking up a point for his win over Mason Ryan on Raw via DQ, Kane dropped 2 spots in the Leaderboard. But, don’t count Kane out. He’s gone 4-0 in Season One.
  • 3 – Randy Orton (Joe)
From 7th to 3rd, Randy Orton jumped up big this week by taking out the Champion: Christian. It’s not a shocking win, but the timing seems a bit rude, if you ask me. Orton now sits with 10 points.
  • 3 – Kofi Kingston (Undrafted)
Kofi Kingston, the undrafted United States Champion moved into second with his win, and title retention, over Jack Swagger on Raw. He now has 10.5 points, narrowly escaping the bite of the Vyper.
  • 1 – John Cena (Joe)
And, John Cena stays at the top of the heap, picking up a squash win over A-Ri. That win scored 3 points, which takes him up to 11. Everyone (besides Joe) is sad because of it.

FTW Rankings

And, here is where everyone stands in the first season of the FTW Draft:

  • 5 – Kevin
Last week, we gave Kevin some slack and didn’t put him into last place. This week, he’s not so lucky. Despite Miz picking up a win, Robert Roode did nothing, John Morrison got injured, AJ styles got a measily point, and Miz’s 3 points cancelled out Del Rio’s efforts in the same match. But at least he got on the board. Kevin sits at 4.5.
  • 4 – Rob
And Rob also got on the board. Mickie James successfully retained the title against Miss Tessmacher, and Sheamus defeated Daniel Bryan. All in all, Rob now has 7 points.
  • 3 – Harrison
Harrison likes being in the middle. He had the middle pick in the draft, and has sat in the center of the pile 2 weeks in a row. He just likes to be surrounded by dudes. He gained 3 points this week, as Dolph Ziggler picked up a win. Harrison now sits at 10.
  • 2 – Garvin
Garvin picked up 4 points this week, as Kane won via DQ and Sin Cara continued to get easy wins against the midcard. However, it was not enough to keep him in 1st. He now sits at 18 points.
  • 1 – Joe
And, we begin to see why Joe picked the way he did. No sleepers. Just winners. That’s because in first place, with a commanding 7.5 point lead, is Joe. Randy Orton picked up the World title, Big Zeke defeated The Big Show, Daniels picked up a draw, and John Cena had a squash match. Fuck you, Joe, and your 25.5 points. Joe is this week’s Leaderboard Champion.
